Bonjour mes darlings and welcome to Miss Lala's latest venture, an online boutique dedicated to everything a girl doesnt need but most definately wants!
For those of you who are new to Lala's here is a brief history of how we came to be.
Miss Lala's Boudoir
In April 2004, Fine Rees ( pictured above ) the creator of Miss Lala returned to London after 10 years in Hollywood as an actress. With no experience of fashion she opened Miss Lala’s Boudoir in North London's Primrose Hill. The boutique was a veritable dressing up box for those wanting to enhance their inner showgirl. Selling everything from wickedly glamorous knickers to jazzy designer frocks, the boutique was soon teaming with well heeled locals, A-lister’s and fashion press as the Primrose Hill set went gaga for Lala. Gwen Stefani was papped loaded down with the boutiques signature bags, Jules Oliver championed the shop in interviews and Meg Matthews was such a fan she even did a stint as a shop-girl!
Miss La La Presents
In November 2007 Fine Rees launched her lingerie label ‘Miss Lala Presents’, in partnership with The Stirling Group who produce lines for M & S and Burberry. The luxurious range was snapped up by Harvey Nichols and now in it's fourth season is also stocked by Harrods, Selfridges, Fortnum and Mason and Fenwicks. The label has many celebrity fans including Scarlett Johansson who proclaimed her love for the “cute little bloomers” (boyshorts) and supermodel and it girl Ben Grimes who described the bra as the best fit she has ever had!
Covent Garden
In September 2008 the flagship boutique was launched. Set in the heart of Covent Garden on Monmouth Street it is designed to feel like a showgirls dressing room, the exclusive shopping experience is ideal for searching out that perfect gift for a friend, or an indulgent treat for yourself.
Browsing the boutiques elegant selection of labels such as; Ashish, Olivia Rubin, Manish Arora, Luella and Matthew Williamson for Linda Farrow (sunglasses), Melissa shoes by Vivienne Westwood, Fifi Chachnil Lingerie, Emobi and Pistol Panties swimwear, Annina Vogel Antique Jewellery and Timmy Woods Bags is like peeking into the wardrobe of your most fabulous friend!
